Teghan has been a Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years. She spent 7 years in general practice before moving to Perth and finding her true passion in Emergency and Critical Care. She started off her ECC career working in a multi-disciplinary practice working alongside specialists in Medicine, Oncology, Surgery and Radiology for 2 and a half years before coming over to Animal Emergency Centre. Teghan loves the fast paced and unpredictable nature of emergency work and is passionate about teaching nurses coming into the Emergency and Critical Care field. Teghan is passionate about feline medicine and loves treating cats in the hospital especially the 'spicy kitties'. She has two cats, Poppet and Gremlin who she reared from a young age and spends her spare time horse riding and hanging out with her horse Spud.
